About

Hey, my name is Lauren Roberts and I am thirty years old and in my third year of the degree ‘Bachelor of Education in Primary Education’ at the University of Technology, Sydney (Kuring-gai Campus).

I have a few websites that you can check out if you want….one is about me and the second is my eSkills assignment.

I guess my current philosophy on ‘current issues and applications in educational computing’ is one of great support!  I believe that computers and technology have a strong place in the classroom.  The right e-learning environment can provide great support in students’ learning and create a strong foundation for their life learning skills.

Teachers should be encouraged to use computers in their day-to-day teaching strategies as an important tool that can be integrated into their already busy schedule.  Having our students build on their computer skills should not be seen as something else we now have to squeeze into out teaching plan but be integrated into other learning areas across the curriculum.

    hi,
thanks for the link, i am always looking for more traffic to my blog, as i enjoy receiving feed back on my poems.
i agree that teachers should use blogs and the internet in class rooms, but so much that no work is done, as i have spent many a english class googling and playing runescape, as oppsed to actally writing.
    good luck with your studies.
    thanks,
    heather
